MPAS – Military Packager Approval Scheme
Military Level Packaging (MLP) ensures the long-term storage and transportation of military equipment. Packaging design, manufacturing, and packing are conducted in accordance with Def Stan 81-041 (Parts 1–6) and can only be performed by MPAS-registered companies. Portsmouth Aviation Dereham and our parent company are accredited members of this scheme.
MLP is carried out using either a Service Packing Instruction Sheet (SPIS) – created during the packaging design process for complex items – or a Standard Family Specification (SFS) for more basic items. Our experienced engineers can advise on the most suitable packaging level for your specific requirements.
